After a year working at the Middleton Children's Clinic, she honed her skills in criminal and juvenile law, witnessing firsthand how families navigate legal complexities during times of hardship.
After her family struggled with the probate process, she vowed to help others avoid similar pain.
Laura’s mission is to offer compassionate guidance, streamlined estate planning, and a unique focus on preserving family stories during the process. Guided by her strong family values, she understands the importance of protecting loved ones and securing their future. When not serving clients, she enjoys spending time with her teenage son, traveling with her spouse, and relaxing with their beloved "Law Office Labradoodle".
OUR FIRM STORY
Over the last 18 years, I've dedicated my career to strengthening Middle Tennessee families. My years in criminal and juvenile law showed me the fragility of families, especially during hardship. This work is deeply personal: I've fought to protect children, reunite families, and ensure every child's right to legal representation.
My family faced a different kind of legal battle when my grandfather, Papaw JC, passed away. He was a pillar of our community – a Korean War veteran, a devoted husband, a successful businessman, and an unwavering man of faith. Losing him was devastating, but what followed was even harder. My mother struggled through the complex and expensive probate process, adding to her grief.
It was then I realized how unfair it is for a grieving child to navigate this legal maze.
That experience ignited my mission: I vowed to help families avoid the pain of probate. I sought out ways to preserve families during their hardest times by offering solutions that streamline the estate planning process. I made a promise to protect my own child from this heartache, and yours too.
My practice has a client-focused approach. We offer flat fees to alleviate the financial stress during this already emotional time. You shouldn't fear the cost of a simple question. I firmly believe everyone deserves accessible guidance to safeguard their assets and plan for the future.
